Shearers Quarters

A great place for singles, couples or larger groups to meet and connect with family and friends, your hosts, nature, the past and the present. This building consists of 6 twin single bedrooms, a large dining area with chairs and TV and a fully equipped kitchen. Our outside BBQ area has a 6 burner BBQ and a small fire pit and on the eastern side of the qtrs we have a bigger fire pit for groups.

Ideal for Large Families, Friends, Specialty Groups, School Groups

• 6 twin share rooms – sleeps up to 12 (bedding packs available – $20 per bed)

• 1 large covered outdoor entertaining area with gas BBQ & open fire at one end

Price for the Shearers Quarters is $80/room per night if you bring your own bedding, $100/room per night for a single with bedding and $120/room per night for two people with bedding supplied.

Caravans, Campervans and Camping

Ideal for small and large groups.

A limited number of camping sites are available on Goodwood Station.
Our camping sites offer privacy and a sense of isolation and security. Whether you’re travelling on your own or in a group, our sites offer accessibility to 2WDs, AWDs & 4WDs (based on road conditions), Tents, Camper Trailers, Caravans and Motorhomes.
Bigger camping areas are also available upon request for Clubs/Groups.

NB: In order to ensure we have you allocated into a site that best suits you, please let us know upon booking if you are travelling in 2WD, AWD or 4WD and if/what you are towing.

Choose a layout best suited to you.

The private secluded bush camping sites are all situated within 2km of the Homestead and have use of fire pits. They are a 300m walk from toilets and showers at the Quarters.  

Alternatively, perhaps a site closer to facilities is more your preference. Why not situate yourself in a site located in close proximity to the Ablution amenities and BBQ area. Enjoy the company of other campers within 20-50m of your site.

Regardless of your campsite location, each camper has access to Ablution amenities and outdoor BBQ area by short walk or drive.

Price is from $20 per site/night for fully self-contained bush camping (you will need your own loo). Camping with ablution facilities and/or power is from $30 per site/night.

Goodwood Stationstay discourages the collection of wood and has bags of wood for sale at $30 per bag.

We accept payment by cash or card.

Discount available for stays of 5 days or more for Shearers Quarters accommodation & camp sites.
